2019 Camper
New Maroon Camp is special because in a sense, it never ends. Camps of all kinds can be enjoyed for a week or a matter of days, but the bonds formed in NMC remain with campers throughout their college careers. My experience as a camper at NMC was freeing. It provided a space to ask basic questions and get acquainted with student life at Mississippi State. It allowed me to be into the person and leader I want to be, since that can be intimidating in the sea of the university population. NMC takes its campers and their futures seriously.
