“i came to Mississippi state knowing approximately four people and this terrified me, but i was ready for a fresh start in a brand new place. multiple people had convinced me to sign up for new maroon camp, so i did! this was truly the best choice i ever made as a incoming freshman. i didn’t necessarily meet my best friends on the first day, but i continued to put myself out there day in and day out. this led me to meeting some of the greatest people, who i can now confidently call some of my best friends, and they have had a major impact on my college experience. the people in this organization care for every single person they come across and make this place feel like home. new maroon camp has been one of the biggest blessings for me in attending college out of state and i wouldn’t change it for the world! go bulldogs and hail state!!”
