When looking back through my time so far at college, I know without NMC, I wouldn’t be where and who I am today too. NMC is so much more than just a few days of fun events where incoming students can get acquainted to campus life, but rather, it’s also a time where students find they don’t have to be a fake version of themselves and instead can be who they truly are. I believe that being your true self and embracing that is one of the most important parts of coming to college, and I know without a doubt that is also one of the most important things that NMC provides among so many other important things too. NMC will always have a special place in my heart due to that exact reason, as well as how it introduced me to some of my closest friends to this day. Coming to college is scary, but with NMC, it allows a much easier and less stressful process that leaves students knowing they made the right decision coming to Mississippi State University.
