Advice for Freshmen:

Push yourself, even to discomfort, when it comes to things that are important to you. I was uncomfortable trying out for organizations I wanted to be a part of. I was uncomfortable making new friends. I was uncomfortable trying to get myself in a routine for school. All of those things are what I wanted to do, but I was so nervous to do them. Because I pushed myself, even when I was uncomfortable, I now couldn't imagine my life any other way at Mississippi State. I have found organizations I am passionate about, I have so many great friends, and I have been able to push myself in school. Just be yourself, and go for it!

I sat front row of the student section in a Lady Bulldogs basketball game against South Carolina last year. We won the game, and it was the hypest basketball game I've ever been to.
